When we got an inquiry to do a playhome for two sisters in Carlsbad, CA we were secretly hoping they would let us do a dark exterior. And yay, they were down for a pretty gray we love from Magnolia paints called Salvaged. It’s a gray that doesn’t come off blue or purple. We usually get all our exterior grade paint in flat. The white paint we used is our go-to color, Double Scoop by Valspar! I absolutely enjoyed every bit of putting this house together. The girls love arts + crafts and playing kitchen (which they happened to have a set already) so it was just about sourcing all the right items and creating a space that was a little boho and a little modern! We included a ton of storage for their toys and even a hand-made banner with their initials. We hope you love it as much as we do! Can’t wait to do another dark exterior house in the near future!
